Colegio Nueva Granada is a private, co-educational day school founded in 1938 to provide students (K4-12) with a U.S.- oriented, college-preparatory education. CNG is accredited by Cognia/AdvancED and the Colombian Ministry of Education. The school year begins in August then ends in June, and this year’s enrollment is 1658. The student body is international consisting of 46% Colombian, 15% U.S., 15% dual (U.S.-Colombian), 15% dual (Other-Colombian) and 9% from other countries. There are a total of 46 nationalities at CNG. All classes are taught in English except Colombian social studies, Spanish, French, and Mandarin. The average class size in high school is 11, and the maximum class size is 23 by policy.
